This kaleidoscope evokes the natural beauty of the western North Carolina mountains where its artist, Alice Houser, lives and works. The body of this kaleidoscope is wrapped in a handmade, Unryu paper from Thailand and covered with leaves collected in the North Carolina fall. The dry-cell object chamber of beads, millefiori, small glass pieces, and delicately twisted wire is reflected by a 3 mirror system. This beautiful scope has no moving parts; simply turn the scope body to change the image. It's 2” by 8 ½” and comes with the acrylic stand shown.
